ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
Goliathon was founded in 2013 by a group of friends (with jobs and kids and busy lives) who love being active and mud runs and a little healthy competition. But, more importantly, we are friends united in our concern for those in need around the world and in answering Christ’s call to love others as He loves us. Goliathon was born out of a desire to bring these two loves together and to work toward a greater purpose – to make a real impact in the lives of those most in need. Although our team has changed over the years, our mission remains the same.
MEET THE G3 ADMIN TEAM
BOB | REALITY CHECKER
Bob sees the big picture as well as the details and is not afraid to read the fine print (which is impressive considering he has only one good eye). A clear voice of reason, a behind-the-scenes hero, Bob can always be counted on to step in and get the job done. His common sense and thoughtful questions help keep the team grounded.

DANA | BRAND STEWARD
Dana is a craftsman of words and imagery. She spends her days using those skills in corporate America, and is grateful to use them now to help those in need. A “Type A” personality, Dana passionately throws herself into everything she does, especially the raising of her two girls.

JEFF | SCORING GURU
Jeff is a data guy. A research analyst. A numbers cruncher. He speaks a language all his own but the team appreciates his problem-solving skills, colorful graphs and ingenuity. A former college volleyball player, Jeff loves to stay active, which works well considering participants keep him on his toes with ideas for enhancements to the Goliathon apps.

JEFF | EQUIPMENT FOREMAN
Jeff's path to Goliathon was paved with mud – the 4-H Mud Run kind of mud – and he's most at home behind the wheel of a front-end loader. Jeff is a local entrepreneur who uses his love of big machines and his willing spirit to help out Goliathon with whatever needs to be done.

KAITLYN | VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
The daughter of two Goliathon co-founders, Kaitlyn was an unofficial member of the team from day one. After graduating with a BS in Nursing, she realized Goliathon was truly in her blood. The team gladly accepted her "application" to officially join the team and has loved watching her jump into help with social media and volunteer placement ever since.

KELLY | MERCHANDISE SUPERVISOR
With a true heart for others and a gift for hospitality, Kellyanne spends her mornings providing physical therapy to students and her evenings cooking for a small army. It’s amazing she finds time to track merchandise inventory, shop for new Goliathon gear and still sneak in frequent trips to the beach.

KYM | CHEERLEADER
Kym is a ball of energy packaged into a 5’ frame. Triathlete. Social butterfly. Homeschool teacher. Mom of four “crazies.” Kym’s enthusiasm for Goliathon – and for life in general – is contagious. You'll sometimes find Kym with a streak of pink hair and almost always in a pair of running shoes.

PAUL | IDEA GUY
Paul was born in the foothills of California and raised in the mountains of Montana. He came east to study theology and play basketball and met a cheerleader courtside who became his wife. Paul looks at the world for what it is and what it could be and takes this entrepreneurial attitude into everything he does. He loves building and conquering obstacles both on courses and around the world.

PHIL | MISSION CONTROL COMMANDER
Phil has a passion for surfing, the ocean and eating Jersey tomatoes. A “Jack of all trades,” there’s not much Phil cannot do. His day job as
a K-8 assistant prinicipal has proven good training for wrangling Goliathon volunteers
and responding to unexpected situations with patience and poise – and a sense of humor.
